Through true Texas grit and undaunted faith, Lorberau Farms was created by a girl with a passion for family, farming, and fine food.
Janie, with the help and support of her family, ventured on a road uncharted to found the first and only cheese-making facility and grade "A" goat dairy in South Texas.
Lorberau farms is grounded in providing elegant handmade cheese to the local community while educating and being a source of Texas inspiration, all in keeping with the integrity of farmstead practices and pure artisan culture of times long passed.
Nothing here is mass-produced; everything is made with love!!!

Simply Farmstead Feta
This month we're featuring our Award Winning Simply Farmstead Feta. It won the judge's hearts in October at the 2011 American Dairy Goat Association Cheese Competition, as it was the only Texas cheese to bring home an award.
It's slightly salty flavor and firm, crumbly texture make it perfect for casual nibbling, or adding to your favorite salad or entree recipe. You simply can't go wrong.
